The Opportunity: The Collaboration Infrastructure Architect will lead strategic initiatives and design robust architectures to drive digital transformation across our organization using Microsoft 365, Azure, and related platforms. This role is responsible for aligning technology strategies with business objectives, ensuring security, scalability, and optimal performance. What You'll Work On: Provide architectural guidance and roadmap planning for Microsoft 365 and Azure platforms. Govern and optimize collaboration environments using tools such as PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, and Azure Logic Apps. Lead migrations for SharePoint, OneDrive, Email, and other services—including from BOX, Dropbox, Egnyte, and on-premises file shares. Collaborate with Identity, Security, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure regulatory alignment using Microsoft Purview and Defender for Identity. Design and implement custom solutions using Microsoft Graph, REST APIs, Angular, React, and SOAP/XML APIs. Support Multi-Geo tenant expansion for data residency and compliance. Leverage AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI to enhance productivity and collaboration. Develop and maintain comprehensive architecture for the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, aligning solutions with organizational goals and industry best practices. Lead integration and optimization of MS Teams, SharePoint, and Power Platform. Establish and enforce data governance frameworks; ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Manage Azure tenant including hybrid cloud and multi-tenant setups, guide migrations, consolidations, and license optimizations. Develop solutions using PowerApps, Power BI, and Power Automate; support citizen developers while ensuring governance and security. Assess licensing needs and recommend models; manage usage analytics and renewal strategies. Advise business and IT leaders; provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers and developers. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE, YOU’LL BRING Minimum Qualifications: Minimum bachelor’s degree required. 10 years of IT experience, including 5 years architecture experience focused on Microsoft 365 and Azure. Proven expertise in Microsoft 365 services, including Teams, SharePoint, Exchange, Power Platform, and Copilot. Hands-on experience with AI and Generative AI capabilities within Microsoft 365 and implementing AI-driven automation. Strong development and scripting skills using PowerShell. Experience building custom solutions with Microsoft Graph, REST APIs, SharePoint API, Exchange API, and modern frameworks (e.g., Angular, React). Deep understanding of data governance, security frameworks, compliance standards, and enterprise security solutions. Enterprise-level architecture experience across cloud platforms, security, networking, and system integrations. Experience with Microsoft Defender, Intune, endpoint management, and Azure architecture. Excellent communication and leadership skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
