A new product ideation engineer is interested in developing thought leadership and strategic insight in developing the future life saving medical devices by using their in depth knowledge of the product and product use workflows by different end users
- Ability to understand the product and clinical workflows and learn about competitive product offering in different geographies
- Engage with clients throughout product development cycle and helping creation and bringing to market of new products
- Help understand customer needs and help identify new opportunities by collaborating with internal and external partners.
- Deliver meaningful trends, key insights, and analysis using the feedback data.
- Advise on the interpretation of data, provide insights and recommendations, and help identify future product opportunities
- Use the feedback and data gathered to define and document user needs and early product definition requirement
- Helping along the entire R&D value chain from ideation, research, product design & development to create smart and connected medical devices with intuitive workflows
- Represent the voice of customer to product development by defining and assessing customer needs
- Take an active role in new product development teams, including contributing to design reviews, and providing design guidance to engineering design teams
- Develop/modify clinical workflows and facilitate the transition of new/updated technology and features into products through clinical review and evaluation.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering of education and work experience
- 0-2 years Engineering experience including co-op and internship
- Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment
- Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization
- 1 years of relevant work experience.
- Able to learn concepts and apply that understanding to help troubleshoot issues and complete assigned project tasks.

Salary : $73,900 - $116,000
