Responsibilities

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Fixed Assets Analyst to join our Finance team.
• This role will support the management, verification, and reporting of fixed assets, ensuring accurate capitalization, depreciation, and disposal processes in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Assist in the recording and tracking of fixed asset acquisitions, transfers, and disposals.
• Support monthly and quarterly close activities related to fixed assets, including depreciation runs and reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date asset records in the fixed asset subledger.
• Conduct physical asset verification and tagging across various locations to ensure asset integrity and compliance.
• Collaborate with project owners and finance teams to ensure timely capitalization of assets.
• Help prepare audit documentation and respond to internal and external audit requests. Participate in system enhancements related to fixed asset accounting.
• Support compliance with internal controls and corporate accounting policies.
• Assist in generating reports and analysis for management review.
• Perform manual Journal entries, accruals and reclassifications
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance, internship or exposure to fixed assets is a plus.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP, Power BI, or other ERP systems is a plus.
• Preferred Qualifications: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
