If you are a nurse who likes flexibility this might be the position for you! The more shifts you pick up, the larger your monthly incentive pay is.
On call (RN) nurses complete assessments to adolescents after hours, holidays, and on weekends in the event of an emergency safety intervention (restraint, seclusion, locked seclusion) at Abbott House. This is a time sensitive position in which the assessment must be initiated within 1 hour of an emergency safety intervention at a residential facility.
The on-call nurse must be a Licensed South Dakota Registered Nurse with a valid driver’s license and should have experience working with children and youth with behavioral health issues.
The hours for on call are: Weekdays (4pm – 1am) Weekends and designated holidays (8am – 1am)
