Qualifications
- Certified Medication Aide (or eligible per South Dakota regulations).
- Experience working with children or youth in a residential or healthcare setting preferred.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to follow medical protocols and directions from licensed nursing staff.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid South Dakota driver's license.
- Administer medications to residents in accordance with physician orders, agency policies, and state regulations.
- Monitor residents for changes in health status and report concerns to the Lead Nurse (RN) in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and timely medication administration records and related documentation.
- Assist with coordination of medical services, including scheduling and preparation for appointments as directed.
- Support management of medical supplies, ensuring proper storage, security, and inventory.
- Collaborate with staff to support resident health needs and follow all safety and infection control procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
