- Perform load calculations, voltage drop calculations, and other technical analyses to optimize system performance.
- Select appropriate electrical components, equipment, and materials based on project specifications and budget constraints.
- Prepare and review project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and bills of materials.
- Coordinate with other trades (e.g., mechanical, architectural) to integrate electrical systems with overall project design.
- Provide technical support and assistance during project implementation, troubleshooting electrical issues as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to electrical design.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD.
