Corrugated Industrial Maintenance Technician

Abbott-Action Inc., a leader in the corrugated packaging industry, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for our Attleboro, MA facility. This is a full-time role with scheduled hours of Monday – Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain all converting and corrugating equipment to reduce downtime and ensure continuous operation.
• Consistently follow safe work practices.
• Perform all necessary machine settings and adjustments to achieve optimal equipment performance and ensure product quality.
• Effectively utilize all functions of the maintenance software program.
• Plan and schedule maintenance tasks, assigning work to team members based on skills and capabilities.
• Follow up on all maintenance work to confirm repairs and tasks are completed properly.
• Maximize equipment utilization by keeping machinery running at available capacity and speed.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately, neatly, and in accordance with company standards.
• Be flexible and willing to work additional hours or shifts as needed.
• Support housekeeping efforts to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and housekeeping standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in the corrugated packaging industry.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Frequent walking, standing, and material handling in a warehouse and production setting.
• Exposure to noise and temperature variations typical of corrugated manufacturing.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or GED (required).
• 2–3 years of industrial maintenance experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in the corrugated packaging industry.
