The Industrial Maintenance Technician position is vital in the manufacturing of our pasta. Abbiamo is looking for a highly motivated individual who is looking for a career in manufacturing at a locally owned business with great benefits, great people, and great pasta
Job Description
- Assists in monitoring and maintaining plant operations, including production and packaging equipment
- Performs preventive and predictive maintenance tasks
- Independently troubleshoots equipment that needs repair or that is operating at a substandard level
- Makes repairs and adjustments in a timely fashion to ensure as little downtime as possible
- Communicate and work wit Maintenance Manager, and other Maintenance personnel
- Performs other tasks as assigned by Management.
Required Skills and Experience
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to frequent changes
- 2 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance required
- Welding experience preferred
- Ability to occasionally lift 50lbs
- Must be able to work up to a 12-hour shift.
- Must have the ability to work from heights up to 30 ft.
- While performing duties of the job, the employee is required to stand, kneel, walk, sit, climb, bend, and twist; use hands to finger, handle and feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
- Must be able to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of electrical controls
- Ability to understand electrical schematics
- Knowledge of 3 phase voltage and VFD's
Compensation:
$34-$37/hr
-Pay differential if able to work; evenings, nights, and weekends
