What are the responsibilities and job description for the Property Manager - Leasing Center position at Abbey Residential?
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Property Manager - Leasing Center (will be responsible for the leasing team and all functions related to leasing) to join our team and take charge of leasing operations at a 1048-unit Class B community located in the heart of Houston’s Energy Corridor. This is an onsite, full-time role with immediate availability at The Abbey at Energy Corridor (HAA Award Winning Property - 2024 Property of the Year for properties built between 1980 - 1989)
You will report directly to the Senior Property Manager and lead a team of five Leasing Professionals in the Leasing Center. You will also oversee the make-ready team responsible for new move-in units, ensuring quality, readiness, and timely delivery of apartments to prospective residents.
This is a high-impact, leadership-level position ideal for:
- A superstar Leasing Manager ready to step into a Director-level role
- An experienced Assistant Manager or Property Manager with a strong track record in leasing performance, team management, and creative marketing strategies
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop the leasing team to achieve occupancy and revenue goals
- Manage make-ready operations and coordinate with maintenance teams for timely unit turns
- Implement and oversee marketing strategies to drive traffic and increase conversions
- Maintain high resident and prospect satisfaction through a customer service-first approach
- Ensure accurate reporting and performance tracking using Onesite/CRM platforms
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of multifamily leasing or management experience
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of Onesite/CRM systems
