Caregiver - 2:00pm - 8:00pm Monday - Friday.
Position Description
Care giver main duty is to support and coordinate care to the monks as directed by the nurse assistant or monk in charge of senior's care.
Specific duties include
- Personal care: Assisting with personal care, hygiene, bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Household tasks: Performing light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation as needed to meet dietary needs.
- Health monitoring and assistance: Administering medications, monitoring health conditions, and documenting changes to report to healthcare professionals or monks.
- Mobility support: Helping with patients' mobility, walking, and transportation to other areas of the monastery or outings as needed.
- Companionship: Providing social and emotional support, engaging in conversation, and participating in activities.
- Environmental: Provide protected supervision and assist them in providing a safe environment in the senior wing area and other areas of the property.
Other: Monitor and document care, complete patient rounds, identify and inform issues toward desired care outcomes. intervening to overcome deviations in
Position Requirements
- IHSS certification
- 2 years' experience
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable car / auto insurance
- Clean background and criminal record.
