Therapeutic Support Staff (Weekend Only 1st Shift)

Abbey Hill Group is multi licensed agency that serves adolescents through residential treatment programs and outpatient services designed to improve community integration while recognizing individual unique potential.

We are actively looking for Therapeutic Support Staff to join our team which facilitates therapeutic programming within our residential treatment locations. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or Human Services related field such as; Special Education, Sociology, Public Health. A Master's degree is preferred. At least three years experience working with children with intellectual and developmental disabilities a must.

Therapeutic Staff personnel are responsible for the following:

• Participate in the planning, facilitation and documentation of individual behavioral support plans.
• Assist with the implementation of therapeutic programming.
• Accurately collecting data from daily therapeutic programming.
• Administer medication as prescribed.
• Audit progress notes from staff members for correctness.
• Provide input for program development.
• Ability to work effectively as a team member in a professional manner.
• Actively participate in recreation, leisure activities, and community outings.
• Assist with daily living and personal care as needed.
• Direct staff in the implementation of new or revised programming.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and prioritization skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
