Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Funeral Home- Rocky Hill
Pay: $20 per hour
Hours: 30–40 hours per week
Job Description: We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Maintenance Technician to join our team at a funeral home. This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and functionality of the building and grounds to ensure a respectful and well-kept environment for the families we serve.
Schedule:
- 30–40 hours per week
- Must be available for nights and weekends as needed
Responsibilities:
- Perform general building maintenance and minor repairs
- Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the funeral home and surrounding grounds
- Assist with room setups and breakdowns for services and visitations
- Monitor building systems and report any issues
- Perform light landscaping, snow removal, and exterior upkeep when necessary
- Assist staff with various facility-related tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- Must have a reliable vehicle/transportation
- Ability to lift and move equipment or furniture as needed
- Dependable, professional, and respectful demeanor
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
Compensation:
- $20 per hour
