Personal Care Assistant / Caregiver - Roswell at Abba Health Services LLC

Home care agency has an urgent need for a PCA or Caregiver to work with a female client in Roswell GA

The caregiver will work 1-on -1 with client inside their homes and help them with activities of daily living such as :

Bathing, dressing, grooming and eating.

Provide medication reminders to patients

Provide companionship and basic care to patients.

Assist with laundry and maintain a clean and healthy environment (meal prep, light housekeeping, etc). This is a part time position

Experienced with client care required.

Experience with dementia care a plus

Clear communication with supervisors and nurses regarding client conditions and issues.

Idea candidate must be dependable, honest, empathetic, patient, polite, respectful, have strong work ethics and pay attention to details.

Must have reliable transportation and available to start immediately.

CPR and TB test required

Qualifications

• Caregiving experience
• Assisted living or nursing home experience
• Ability to provide patient care including ADLs
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or Alzheimer's
• Familiarity with hospice care and vital signs monitoring
• First aid certification and knowledge of EMR systems
• Valid CPR Certification
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work with individuals with dementia and autism
• Clean driving record
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
