This position reports to:

TMC Transport and Trade Specialist

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for local import/export operations. Each day, you will supervise performance of customs brokers. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring smooth execution of operational trade and customs activities within a local unit, including relevant documentation and compliance with regulations.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid

This role is contributing to the ELIP Transportation Department in US. Main stakeholders are Installation Products.

Responsibilities:

  • Acting as point of contact for customs brokers in case of clarification needs (e.g., regarding valuation or classification of products).
  • Auditing customs brokers regarding the correctness of customs entries, invoicing, and archiving.
  • Managing the necessary documentation and online forms for the efficient, cost-effective, and lawful execution of all import/export activities.
  • Maintaining and sharing with colleagues, as appropriate, personal knowledge of all relevant import/export laws and procedures, tariffs, duties, licenses, and restrictions.

Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma and 5 years of experience in Supply Chain/Logistics, OR related Associate’s degree and 3 years of experience, OR related Bachelor’s degree and 1 years of experience.
  • Experience in International/Domestic.
  • Enjoy working with Lean methodologies.
  • Highly adept in SAP, SAP TM, Blue Yonder, Power BI or equivalent.
  • Good verbal communication skills, good collaborator, strategic thinker.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% regionally.
  • You are at ease communicating in English.
  • You hold current licenses valid in the United States.
