Your role and responsibilities:
ABB's Distribution Solutions Division facilitates the efficient and reliable distribution, protection and control of power by improving electric power quality while strengthening the resilience of the grid. The Division offers segment-specific products and solutions that largely serve utilities, industry and infrastructure segments, often providing the requisite medium-voltage link between high-voltage transmission systems and low-voltage users. With ABB Ability™ enabled connected solutions at its core, the offering includes medium-voltage air- and gas-insulated switchgear (1 to 66 kilovolts), indoor and outdoor circuit breakers, reclosers, fuses, contactors, relays, instrument transformers, sensors, motor control centers, as well as low-voltage switchgear for the ANSI standard markets.

The work model for the role is: Onsite, Mebane, NC
Your role and responsibilities:
- Participates in the sequence definition, cycle time calculation, and analysis of the working phases of new production processes/products.
- Shares cycle time data with internal teams.
- Prepares technical documentation regarding the process phases, related methods, and cycle times.
- Supports production during start-ups by training indirect and direct staff.
- Ensures that updated process and technical documentation are provided to Supply Chain Management (SCM) teams to support supplier evaluations and proper supplier agreements.
- Participates in the definition of action plans, training of relevant Maintenance and Production teams, and other support activities during the internal/external process and equipment start-up.
- 5 years working in a manufacturing environment

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Legal authorization to work in the US is required
- Knowledge and use of tools – tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools, as needed.
- Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed
- Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs
