Position Overview:

As a BCBA/BCaBA at ABAzing, LLC, you will play a critical role in improving the lives of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing and overseeing individualized treatment plans, and providing supervision and training to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other team members. You will also collaborate with families to ensure the effective implementation of ABA strategies in various settings, helping clients achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Treatment Planning:

    • Conduct initial and ongoing assessments, including Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and other standardized assessments (e.g., VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R).
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (ITPs) based on client assessments and goals.
    • Set measurable and realistic goals and objectives that align with client and family priorities.
    • Regularly review and adjust treatment plans based on data analysis and client progress.
  • Implementation and Supervision:

    • Design and oversee the implementation of evidence-based ABA interventions.
    • Provide direct supervision, training, and support to RBTs and other paraprofessionals, ensuring adherence to treatment plans.
    • Monitor and analyze data to inform decisions and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
    • Conduct direct therapy sessions as needed, especially for high-priority or complex cases.
  • Family and Caregiver Training:

    • Conduct parent and caregiver training sessions to ensure the effective application of ABA strategies at home and in the community.
    • Provide ongoing education and support to families, helping them understand and manage their child’s behavior.
    • Collaborate with families to develop and achieve client-centered goals.
  • Documentation and Compliance:

    • Maintain thorough and up-to-date documentation, including session notes, treatment plans, and progress reports in accordance with ABAzing’s standards.
    • Ensure compliance with all ethical guidelines, state laws, and BACB regulations.
    • Participate in regular audits and quality assurance activities as required.
  • Professional Development:

    • Stay current with advancements in ABA through continuing education, conferences, and peer consultation.
    • Participate in staff meetings, clinical team meetings, and professional development opportunities.
    • Mentor and provide guidance to junior BCBAs, BCaBAs, and RBTs, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field (for BCBA).
    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (for BCaBA).
  • Certification:

    • Current BCBA or BCaBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
    • State licensure, if required.
  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience providing ABA services (for BCaBA).
    • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience providing ABA services, including supervision (for BCBA).
    • Experience working with individuals with ASD and other developmental disabilities is preferred.
  • Skills:

    • Strong understanding of ABA principles and methodologies.
    • Excellent data analysis and problem-solving abilities.
    • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
    • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Work Environment:

  • Travel may be required to client homes, schools, or community settings.
  • Flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate client needs.
  • Working closely with clients who may exhibit challenging behaviors, requiring patience and resilience.

Salary : $64,000 - $80,000
