Job Summary
We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Home Daily - Local CDL A Driver to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering products directly to local customers on a daily basis, ensuring timely and safe transportation of freight. If you enjoy driving, working independently, and maintaining great customer relationships, this position is perfect for you. The ideal candidate will have experience with various types of trucks and cargo, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, or tankers.
Responsibilities
- Deliver products to customers on an assigned route.
- Merchandise, display, and rotate products according to company standards.
- Invoice and Collect amounts due, settle accounts daily.
- Ensure product delivered is undamaged and in proper condition (undamaged, packaging intact)
- Ensure proper procedure is followed and product is coded appropriately (disposition, destroy, repack, good return) when picking up product.
- Proper driver and work methods must be followed to lessen any potential to damaging product on truck
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures.
- Follow established company Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality procedures and policies.
- Actively participate in Hazard Mitigation.
- Complete assigned Health & Safety trainings.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record.
- Experience driving tractor-trailers or commercial trucks, especially with manual transmissions preferred.
- Prior delivery driver experience involving freight, route driving, or working with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, or tankers is highly desirable.
- Ability to load & unload cargo safely using forklifts or other equipment.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to truck driving and freight handling.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members effectively.
