What You will Do:

• Monitor customer transactional activity using advanced tools and analytics for the detection and reporting of possibly unusual or suspicious activity
• Provide support in various BSA Departmental tasks including, but not limited to, Investigations, High Risk Reviews, Six Month Reviews, and New Account Compliance Reviews.
• Conduct thorough reviews of customer due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (EDD) processes to ensure compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate potential red flags and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Effectively communicate verbally and in writing with account officers and Branch personnel regarding department inquiries.
• Stay ahead of regulatory changes from FinCEN, OFAC, and other U.S. regulatory authorities, while supporting audit and exam preparations.
• Contribute to training initiatives to foster a culture of compliance across our operations.

What We are Looking For:

• Bachelor´s degree in Finance, Business, Criminal Justice, Law, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in BSA/AML compliance, preferably in a banking or financial services environment.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. regulatory frameworks (BSA, USA PATRIOT Act, etc.) and familiarity with tools like Ocean Systems ECS or similar monitoring systems.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings clearly.
• Bilingual skills (English and Spanish) are required in our Global Environment.
• Certifications such as FIBA AMLCA or CAMS or similar are highly desirable.
