Staffing Specialist/Recruiter

ABACUS is NOW HIRING a Staffing Specialist/Recruiter. As a Staffing Specialist you will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent for various positions within our company. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that the organization is staffed with the best possible candidates, contributing to the overall success and growth of the business. This is very high-volume recruitment.

Job Duties:

• Identify and reach out to potential job candidates through various channels
• Conduct interviews and assess candidates' skills and qualifications
• Place job openings on our Application Tracking System portal
• Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and requirements by conducting intake meetings with clients to agree on qualification criteria.
• Provide an exceptional candidate experience from application to onboarding
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in recruitment
• Responsible for creating and implementing onboarding, conducting orientation sessions, and reviewing company policies.
• Respond promptly to email submissions
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Demonstrate professional phone and office etiquette
• Manage and prioritize multiple tasks
• Demonstrate effective communication and listening skills

Education/Experience:

• High School diploma or GED.

Requirements:

• Must have experience with very high-volume recruiting.
• Must have a valid Driver's License and transportation.
• Proven experience as a recruiter or in a similar role.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
