What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Manager position at Abacus Solution Group?
Abacus is looking to hire a Security Manager in the Louisville, KY area.
The site Security Manager is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of campus asset protection and security protocols. They will actively reinforce security practices and coordinate with contracted security services to maintain adherence to security standards, mitigate breach of safety and prevent loss of customer inventory. They will report to the Site General Manager and support all on-site security needs
- Implement and maintain a Security Management system in accordance with the US Security Policy Manual
- Ensure strict adherence to Visitor and Driver Protocol in both office and warehouse area.
- Investigate and report all security incidents to the Site Manager and Director of Security
- Manage local ID Badge Program
- Review and maintain branch activity reports.
- Maintain accurate Alarm/Security records, including regular maintenance reports.
- Update and maintain Security work instructions to ensure compliance with security protocols.
- Capture and maintain all security forms (Seal logs, Sanitation forms, Driver Sign-in logs)
- Coordinate with Security Guard contractors to enhance processes and provide advanced training for on-site guards.
- Conduct security awareness training sessions for local management and associates.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Regularly review CCTV footage to identify and report any suspicious behavior, escalating to the Security Director as necessary
- Detects and resolves internal theft investigations within the warehouse.
The candidate will be expected to:
- Work independently
- Maintain Company Property Issue/Return documents.
- Complete Security Incident Reports for known losses
- Complete weekly security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Continual training of colleagues.
- Establish site specific protocols as needed.
- Review operational processes and update SOPs/WI’s where required.
- When necessary, partner with local and federal law enforcement agency in onsite incidents or theft investigations
- Additional duties deemed appropriate for this role
Salary : $85,000
