Foodservice Worker

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Food Service Worker to join our team in Statesboro, GA. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, serving meals, maintaining cleanliness, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced food service environment. This position requires a positive attitude, reliability, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food according to established recipes and food safety standards.
• Set up serving stations and replenish food and beverage items as needed.
• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Operate a cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system, if required.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, dining areas, equipment, and workstations.
• Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using proper sanitation procedures.
• Store food items properly and assist with receiving and stocking deliveries.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.
• Perform other duties as needed to support daily food service operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous food service, cafeteria, restaurant, or hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must maintain a clean and professional appearance.
