QA Analyst

The South Carolina Department of Health & Human Services ( SCDHHS) is the State Medicaid Agency for South Carolina. The Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) Replacement and Member Management Replacement Systems projects are the largest Information Technology projects the State will undergo in collaboration with the SCDHHS Project Management Office (PMO). The PMO is responsible for staffing all SCDHHS projects as well as establishing and monitoring IT related governance and standards, which are followed by all enterprise project teams.

The Quality Assurance Analyst will be assigned to projects for the South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (SCDHHS), the Medicaid Agency for SC.

Scope of the project:
SCDHHS is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst (LEAD) to assist with implement small to large projects.

Required Skills (rank in order of Importance):

-Superb written and oral communications skills, including the ability to write requirements and Use Cases. Very Strong proficiency in English is required.
-5 years translating business requirements or policy documentation into test cases and scenarios; building test cases and scenarios into test systems.
-5 years'' experience in Quality Assurance & Quality Control.
-3 years'' experience in Sahi Pro/Selenium Automation Framework.
-Working knowledge of ONE of the following: Spice, TPI, TMMI, CMMI OPF, OPD and PPQA process areas.
-Direct hands on experience with formal test design techniques like Equivalence Class Partitioning and Pairwise Analysis.
-Experience with test design tools like PICT or equivalent orthogonal based tools.

Preferred Skills (rank in order of Importance):

Preferred Skills:
-5 years large enterprise or e-business systems experience.
-3 years Medicaid or healthcare experience. Deep knowledge of healthcare operations (preferably Medicaid), business processes.
-Experience with X.12 Standards and HIPPA EDI Transactions.
-Proficient in Atlassian tool suite including JIRA and Confluence.
-Prior experience working in a standard SDLC (waterfall methodology) & in an AGILE delivery.

Required Education:
Bachelor''s degree in a technical, business, or healthcare field. Or equivalent experience on a year for year basis

additional duties/skills:
-Design and Develop Test Automation Scripts using Test Automation Guidelines.
-Document and support development of test scenarios/cases and the execution of testing activities.
- Should be able to communicate and publish status reports of all open issues and gaps found during test phase and articulate the details to the Development teams.
