As an art teacher at Abacus, you will guide children ages two through five in various related art activities. We are looking for an art teacher who is highly skilled at teaching different art techniques to students and who strives to teach any art related topic ranging from mixing basic colors to art history. We want our Abacus art teacher to bring out the inner artists of students to help build skills and self-confidence.
The art teacher will be supported by the assistant teacher from each class; therefore, the student to teacher ratio will vary.
The art teacher will also be required to transport children in an Abacus vehicle from school, and assist in our "Beyond the Classroom" after school program. A clean driving record is required and applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 per hour
