Position Summary

The Quality Assurance & Compliance Coordinator supports the organization's quality management system through audit administration, supplier quality oversight, compliance monitoring, documentation control, and process improvement activities. This role serves as a key resource for maintaining regulatory compliance, supporting vendor management programs, ensuring quality standards are met, and providing administrative support for quality-related operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Quality Management & Compliance

  • Complete and coordinate customer quality surveys and questionnaires.
  • Conduct internal process audits, including:

o Receiving processes

o Shipping processes

o Closed complaint reviews

o Export compliance activities

o Vendor and supplier master data changes

o Corrective and preventive action effectiveness reviews

  • Review and monitor daily ERAI alerts and take appropriate action when required.
  • Support compliance initiatives and maintain compliance-related records.
  • Assist with IDEA compliance requirements and training certification tracking.

Vendor & Supplier Quality Management

  • Process new vendor and supplier onboarding and setup activities.
  • Perform quarterly vendor/supplier performance evaluations.
  • Review daily support request alerts and assist with vendor ranking and performance management.
  • Maintain supplier qualification and performance documentation.

Documentation & Process Control

  • Maintain, update, and manage internal procedures, work instructions, and quality system documentation.
  • Ensure controlled documents remain current and compliant with company standards.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process gaps and recommending corrective actions.

Quality Operations Support

  • Provide coverage for quality-related inbox requests and internal customer inquiries.
  • Assist with discrepant material review and tracking processes.
  • Coordinate follow-up activities related to quality investigations and corrective actions.
  • Support warehouse and operational teams in meeting quality and compliance requirements.

Training & Administrative Support

  • Track quality-related certifications and training records.
  • Assist in onboarding employees regarding quality and compliance requirements.
  • Generate reports, metrics, and audit documentation as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records supporting quality management systems.

Qualifications

Education

  • Associate's degree in Quality, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Experience

  • 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Compliance, Supplier Quality, or a related operational environment.
  • Experience supporting audits, compliance programs, or quality management systems preferred.
  • Experience working with vendor management processes preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of quality management principles and audit processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to interpret procedures and ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and business systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Pay: From $900.00 per week
