Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, allocations, taxes, accruals, and account reconciliations
- Maintain general ledger integrity and resolve discrepancies
- Develop variance analyses for key accounts to support FP&A and leadership in financial reporting insights
- Support annual external audits and tax filings by preparing schedules and providing required documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
- Improve processes and drive efficiency gains across areas of responsibility
- Prepare and maintain monthly financial statements for joint venture entities in accordance with GAAP
- Execute ad-hoc projects as needed, including tax compliance initiatives and system implementations
- 2-4 years of corporate accounting experience
- Public, private, or combo
- Construction or similar industry experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Detail-oriented and highly analytical
- CPA is a plus
