Our client is an investment management company. They seek a Director of Thought Leadership & Content to join their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a thought leadership content strategy by researching and analyzing market trends, economic data, and company performance to identify key themes and insights
- Create high-quality content, including white papers, market commentaries, investor letters, articles, blog posts, and presentations
- Partner with portfolio managers, research analysts, and the risk and analytics team to transform complex investment insights into clear, engaging content while ensuring consistency, accuracy, and a high standard of professionalism
- Analyze the impact of thought leadership content, using data to refine positioning and enhance engagement
- Monitor industry developments and emerging trends to identify opportunities for new content
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Journalism, Communications, or a related field. An advanced degree (MBA, CFA) is a plus
- 7 years of experience in financial writing, investment research, or asset management communications
- Understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and asset management principles
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- Highly proactive, with a proven ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Bloomberg, FactSet, Morningstar Direct, NASDAQ eVestment, and other applicable financial databases
