Position Summary:

The Vice President of Finance is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing fund accounting, financial reporting, partnership economics, finance operations, and SBIC regulatory financial oversight across all Abacus investment vehicles and GP entities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own daily fund accounting operations, capital calls, distributions, allocations, waterfalls, and GP economics
- Lead financial reporting, audits, tax coordination, and third-party administrators
- Provide transaction and funds-flow oversight for acquisitions and exits
- Oversee SBIC regulatory compliance, Form 468 filings, leverage monitoring, and SBA examinations
- Partner with Investor Relations on LP reporting and fundraising support
- Drive process improvement, controls, and team development
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
- 8 years of private credit, PE, or SBIC fund finance experience
- Deep partnership accounting and regulatory knowledge
- CPA preferred
- Total compensation package of $175,000 - $200,000 including pension plan, health benefits, and 401K.
