Job Summary
Abacus Digital is looking to hire an experienced Underground Laborer to assist Drill Crews with Underground Fiberoptic Conduit placement.
Duties
- Assist with the excavation, trenching, and backfilling of underground cable and conduit installations using hand tools.
- Support heavy equipment operators in the setup and operation of horizontal drills.
- Assist with pulling fiberoptic conduit.
- Assist in moving trailers around site and washing down drills / machines.
- Perform restoration of bore pits and drill tracks.
- Follow safety protocols during all phases of construction work to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with industry standards
This job is 100% field based - rain or shine.
Reliable transportation required to travel to and from site - truck provided on-site to move trailers for bore crew.
OSHA 10 is a plus.
Sites are located in the Clearwater - Tampa area.
Payment is every week on Fridays.
The work is available immediately with over 100,000ft of underground conduit available to install per month.
Pay: $200.00 per day
