You will work 1-1 with our clients in our clinic in Lomita, in the home setting, and at times in the community. During sessions, you may provide parent training.

JOB DETAILS BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN/THERAPIST:
- Implement 1:1 high-quality behavior ABA (behavior therapy) programs to clients at our clinic, client’s homes, and community settings
- Record data during ABA Intervention Sessions
- Coach Parents Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Principles
- Participate in Clinical Meetings and monthly training
- Participate in Social Skills Groups
- Learn and implement de-escalation strategies (prevent and manage conflicts.)
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school or bachelor's degree in psychology, special education or a related field
- Minimum of 1-year of experience working with children/adolescents/adults
- Passionate to play and work with children; responsible; great communicator
- Must maintain minimum availability: 12.5 hrs, 3 weekdays per week between 3 pm-8 pm OR 2 weekdays and 1 Saturday
- Must have laptop or tablet
- Pass the background check and pre-employment screenings
- Meet the physical needs of conducting sessions with young clients

WORKING CONDITIONS:
- The position will be performed in the client’s home, at our clinic, sometimes virtual, at times in the (after) school or daycare, and the community. Regular business hours are between 10 am and 8 pm.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.01 - $25.51 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
