Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Behavior Technician located in Rockaway Park, NY. The Behavior Technician will be responsible for implementing behavioral intervention plans, collecting data on client progress, and working closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to adjust treatment plans as needed. Daily tasks include direct interaction with clients to promote positive behavior changes, maintaining accurate records, and effectively communicating with clients, families, and team members.
Qualifications
- Skills in Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis
- Proficiency in Communication and Behavioral Intervention
- Knowledge in Psychology as it pertains to behavior modification
- Strong observational and data collection skills
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Behavior Analysis, or a related field a plus
