Job Summary
ABA Therapy & Instruction is seeking a motivated and reliable Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide in-home ABA therapy services for a client located in Key Largo, Florida. The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and will be responsible for implementing individualized behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition programs.
The ideal candidate is professional, compassionate, and able to follow clinical protocols while maintaining accurate data collection and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Implement ABA therapy programs as designed by the supervising BCBA.
- Follow and implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and skill acquisition programs.
- Collect accurate session data on target behaviors and skill development.
- Maintain professional and ethical standards in accordance with BACB guidelines and company policies.
- Communicate regularly with the supervising BCBA regarding client progress and barriers to implementation.
- Participate in required supervision and training sessions.
- Maintain professional interaction with caregivers and other team members.
- Complete session notes and documentation according to company and funding source requirements.
Requirements
- Active RBT certification with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Medicaid provider enrollment (preferred or ability to enroll).
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred).
- Minimum 6 months–1 year of ABA experience preferred.
- Reliable transportation and ability to commute to Key Largo, FL.
- Ability to pass a background check and maintain required credentials.
- Ability to follow clinical protocols and work under BCBA supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience providing home-based ABA services.
- Strong communication and data collection skills.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
