ABA Technician

ABA Humboldt is a Local Agency providing applied behavior analysis services to individuals and families in our community. We provide compassionate, and dedicated ABA therapy to our clients with Autism and developmental and behavioral challenges. Our purpose as we provide behavioral support to our clients and their families is to help them to achieve positive behavioral outcomes by learning new skills and coping strategies.

**Job Overview:**

ABA Humboldt is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as an ABA Technician in Mckinleyville, CA. As an ABA Technician, you will have the opportunity to work one on one with clients in various settings, including home after school programs, select schools, and our clinic. This part-time position offers a salary range of $23 to $25 per hour.

**Responsibilities:**

• Implement behavior intervention plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
• Provide one on one ABA therapy to clients
• Collect data on client progress and behavior
• Assist clients with skill acquisition and behavior management
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and clients' families

**Requirements:**

• Bachelors in Special Education, Psychology, or related field
• Previous experience working with individuals with special needs preferred
• Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) preferred
• Ability to pass a background check (Note: ABA Humboldt complies with regulations prohibiting inquiries about criminal backgrounds)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
