ABA Homecare, LLC - office located in Conyers, GA is seeking a skilled, conscientious, and compassionate RN (Registered Nurse) to provide clinical oversight to our caregivers - PCA and CNA's. as well as nursing intervention, which includes initial nursing assessments, supervisory visits, and direct patient care (wound care, IV services) to our clients in their homes. The RN will be responsible for care‑plan development and ongoing clinical review.
This is a part-time position with day and evening hours, therefore requires flexibility.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform initial and ongoing nursing assessments of clients’ physical, developmental, and mental status during home visits.

Develop, implement, and update individualized nursing care plans in coordination with nursing administration, primary care providers/clients medical team. However, the candidate must feel comfortable working autonomously.

Provide supervisory visits to clients receiving services from LPNs, home health aides, or caregivers, ensuring compliance with the plan of care and scope of practice.

Administer medications, treatments, and skilled procedures as ordered, including monitoring for side effects, drug interactions, and medical emergencies.

Monitor and document behavioral changes, medical concerns, and safety risks, communicating significant findings to nursing administration.

Collaborate with families, and caregivers to integrate nursing and behavioral supports if needed (e.g., seizure precautions, feeding safety, medication routines).

Provide health education to clients and families on disease management, medication safety, infection control, nutrition, and recognizing urgent symptoms.

Maintain accurate, timely documentation in our electronic medical record (EMR), including assessments, care plans, visit notes, incident reports, and supervisory logs.

Adhere to HIPAA, OSHA, Georgia Board of Nursing, and agency policies related to documentation, infection control, medication handling, and safety.

Participate in care conferences, case reviews, and interdisciplinary team meetings to support integrated nursing care as needed
- Maintain appropriate and necessary licensure, complete CEU's to adhere to Georgia State law and Board of Nursing.
