Corrections RN / Registered Nurse Pay:
- $2,926 weekly gross working 48 hours
- $2,146 weekly gross working 36 hours
- 36/48 rotating schedule
- Local and Travel pay packages both available based on eligibility
- Weekly direct deposit
- W2 position with benefits available; Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K
Schedule and Timeline:
- Now interviewing for ASAP start dates!
- 36/48 rotating schedule
- Potential for additional overtime available
- 12-hour shifts
- 13-week assignment with the potential to extend
Corrections RN / Registered Nurse Job Details:
- Provide healthcare services to inmates.
- Conduct health assessments, screenings, and medical evaluations
- Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records, documenting all patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care to stabilize patients in critical situations.
- Educate inmates about health issues, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications to improve their overall well-being.
- Participate in health promotion and disease prevention programs within the correctional facility.
- Treat inmates for chronic health issues, trauma, infection, and substance abuse.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to ethical standards in all aspects of patient care.
Corrections RN / Registered Nurse Qualifications:
- BLS certification
- Unencumbered Colorado or Compact RN License
- 1 years of Corrections nursing experience is required
