Position Summary
We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to generate new business opportunities and secure commercial janitorial and facility services contracts. This is a hands-on sales role focused on prospecting, building client relationships, preparing proposals, and closing new business.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial janitorial and facility services industry.
- Generate leads through cold calling, email outreach, networking, referrals, and industry research.
- Build relationships with property managers, facility managers, building owners, and other key decision-makers.
- Conduct client meetings and site visits to assess service needs and present solutions.
- Prepare proposals, pricing estimates, and bid packages in collaboration with internal teams.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from initial outreach through contract negotiation and closing.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurate records of sales activities.
- Meet established sales targets and provide regular updates on pipeline activity and projected revenue.
- Coordinate with operations to support a smooth transition for newly acquired accounts.
Qualifications
- 5 years of sales or business development experience, preferably in commercial janitorial services, commercial cleaning, or facility management.
- Proven ability to prospect, develop client relationships, and close new business.
- Experience with cold calling, proposals, and competitive bidding preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally for client meetings and site visits.
Salary : $85,000 - $100,000
