What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Manager position at AB Corporate?
- Develop and manage sales pipelines and forecasts associated with substantiated opportunities.
- Proactively cultivate new client relationships, while nurturing existing relationships through consistent face-to-face meetings and statuses.
- Focus heavily on prospecting new clients and proactively driving follow-ups to convert leads into qualified pitch opportunities.
- Review key sales accounts & new business opportunities weekly with manager, providing strategic insights and performance metrics from pipeline
- Serve as the voice of the customer, translating brand requirements and feedback to internal teams to ensure alignment and responsiveness.
- Monitor project timelines and alert customer and team of deadlines to ensure projects remain on schedule throughout each phase of development.
- Maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders (NPD, Estimating, Procurement, etc.) to ensure alignment and responsiveness to customer
- Take detailed briefs for programs, submit pricing proposals to clients and support contract negotiations.
- Present Quarterly Business Reviews to North America leadership team highlighting key wins, pipeline health and strategic initiatives
- Support new business acquisition strategies
- Execute strategic sales outreach using tools such as Zoom Info, LinkedIn, and inbound leads to build a qualified pipeline (SQLs), providing monthly metrics.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities beyond the classic beauty space (ex. Health, wellness, pet care, etc.)
- Attend client meetings to present innovations and capabilities, attend trade shows & networking events – periodic travel when required
- Understand and research competitors, track their progress & challenges to maintain our strategic advantage
Relevant skills & experience
- Bachelor’s Degree;
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in sales in the Beauty or CPG industry with packaging and/or contract manufacturing experience preferred
- Robust network of industry contacts
- Strong track record of bringing in new business, closing opportunities and achieving sales targets
- Must be well organized and work proactively with teams and customer to ensure project timelines are clearly established and respected.
- Willingness to cold call and develop fresh business opportunities
