The Heirloom Room is Rocky Waters Motor Inn's signature fine dining experience, rooted in the rich culinary traditions of Appalachia. As a Host, you are the first and last impression our guests have of The Heirloom Room — the warm, welcoming presence that sets the tone for the entire dining experience from the moment they walk through the door. What You'll Do
Guest Experience & Service
- Warmly greet and escort guests to their tables, ensuring a welcoming and seamless arrival experience
- Maintain positive guest relations throughout the dining experience, addressing needs and concerns with courtesy and professionalism
- Be aware of wait times and communicate them clearly and proactively to guests
- Extend a genuine, courteous farewell to every departing guest
- Maintain familiarity with the menu and highlight featured items for guests when appropriate
Operations & Standards
- Maintain complete knowledge of table and seat numbers and proper table setups
- Guide servers and bus persons on table setup and guest flow throughout each shift
- Stay in constant communication with servers, kitchen, and management to ensure timing and food preparation is synchronized with guest flow
- Check with the kitchen regularly to confirm menu item availability
- Assist in preparing the restaurant for service and maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the dining room at all times
- Restock supplies and complete closing duties as assigned
- Follow all AATMOS standard operating procedures and service standards
