What are the responsibilities and job description for the SEO Specialist (WordPress + Backlink Acquisition) position at Aastro Roofing?
We are looking for a results-driven SEO Specialist who knows WordPress inside and out and understands how to rank websites through strong on-page SEO and backlink acquisition.
This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, proactive, and knows how to move rankings, not just talk about theory.
Responsibilities:
- Optimize WordPress websites for SEO (technical on-page)
- Conduct keyword research and implement SEO strategies
- Build and execute backlink acquisition campaigns (outreach, guest posts, directories, etc.)
- Improve rankings for target keywords and track performance
- Audit websites and identify SEO issues and opportunities
- Implement internal linking strategies
- Work with content and marketing teams to improve SEO performance
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of SEO experience
- Strong experience with WordPress (required)
- Proven ability to acquire quality backlinks
- Understanding of on-page SEO, technical SEO, and keyword strategy
- Familiarity with tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Google Search Console
- Ability to work independently and produce measurable results
