Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care for children, including toddlers and infants, ensuring their safety, comfort, and emotional well-being
- Assist with daily routines such as feeding, bathing, dressing, and nap times for young children
- Support individuals with disabilities by helping with mobility, personal hygiene, and daily activities in a respectful and empowering manner
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that foster learning, creativity, and social development
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions and emotional regulation
- Maintain a clean and organized environment that adheres to safety standards and health protocols
- Collaborate with families or guardians to understand specific needs and provide consistent caregiving support
- Apply first aid techniques when necessary and respond promptly to emergencies or health concerns
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare centers, preschools, babysitting, or nannying roles is highly preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices
- Classroom experience or daycare background that includes managing group activities and behavior management strategies
- Experience caring for infants and toddlers with patience, sensitivity, and enthusiasm
- Familiarity with working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a strong plus
- Certification in first aid and CPR is desirable but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification is appreciated
- Strong communication skills to effectively teach, guide, and collaborate with children, families, and team members
