We are looking for a Radiology Physician to join our team as a Locum Tenens Interventional Radiology (IR) Physician. This position involves providing on-site coverage at a well-established medical facility in La Plata, MD.
About the Job
The successful candidate will have a Monday–Friday schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM, with a total of 60 minutes of break time per day. There are no evening, weekend, holiday, or IR call requirements, making this position an excellent opportunity for a physician seeking a balanced work schedule in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing an average of 5–6 procedures per day while reading mixed modality studies between cases
- Maintaining a total daily volume of approximately 40 RVUs
The ideal candidate will hold a Board Certification (BC) or Board Eligibility (BE) in Radiology and a Maryland Medical License (required). Experience in reading trauma scans is preferred but not required.
