Key responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive obstetric care: prenatal, labor and delivery, and postpartum management
- Provide gynecologic care: routine exams, preventive services, and surgical interventions as appropriate
- Collaborate with physicians, midlevel providers, and ancillary services for coordinated care
- Deliver patient education and counseling on women’s health issues
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent)
- Completion of an OB/GYN residency program and an OB/GYN fellowship program
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a West Virginia medical license
