We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible noninvasive cardiologist with advanced cardiac imaging expertise to join an expanding, collaborative cardiology team in Denver, Colorado. The position blends inpatient and outpatient practice with an emphasis on general cardiology (approximately 70%) and advanced imaging (approximately 30%).
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality clinical care across general cardiology inpatient and outpatient settings
- Perform and interpret transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, exercise and pharmacologic stress testing, and cardiac CT and/or MRI (as credentialed)
- Participate in hospital rounds, cardiology consults, and multidisciplinary case reviews
- Collaborate closely with interventional, electrophysiology, and heart failure specialists
- Maintain accurate documentation and support clinical quality initiatives
Qualifications:
- MD or DO with board certification or eligibility in Cardiovascular Disease
- Fellowship-trained in cardiology with Level II/III competency in echocardiography, cardiac CT, and/or cardiac MRI
- Eligibility for a Colorado medical license
- Strong communication skills and commitment to patient-centered care
Preferred:
- SCCT or SCMR certification
- Experience with structural heart imaging or valvular disease
- Interest in academic activities, teaching, or research
