What you’ll do
- Lead and grow a well-established, high-volume ophthalmology service with a strong regional referral base.
- Provide comprehensive clinical care alongside a collaborative team of ophthalmologists, optometrists, and Certified Ophthalmic Assistants.
- Oversee quality initiatives, clinical operations, and service development while maintaining active surgical and outpatient practice.
- Use a state-of-the-art procedure center with dedicated OR block time and up-to-date surgical and diagnostic equipment.
- Participate in a manageable call schedule (1:4) with minimal burden.
Who we’re looking for
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology.
- Completion of an accredited ophthalmology residency; fellowship training is welcome but not required.
- Eligible for Vermont medical licensure and hospital medical staff privileges.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, commitment to high-quality patient care, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
