We’re looking for a skilled Emergency Medicine physician to join our team in Ocala, FL on a locum tenens basis. You’ll be providing hands-on, patient-centered care in the emergency department—performing thorough assessments, making timely diagnoses, and delivering appropriate treatments for a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries. What you’ll be doing:
- Evaluating and stabilizing patients across all ages and acuity levels
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, initiating treatment plans, and coordinating follow-up care or admissions as needed
- Communicating clearly with patients, families, and consulting teams
- Documenting care accurately and efficiently in the medical record
- Participating in departmental processes to support patient flow and quality improvement
Who we’re looking for:
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine
- Active Florida medical license (or ability to obtain one)
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
