We’re seeking a Locum Critical Care Intensivist to cover Medical ICU shifts at a hospital in Panama City, Florida for specific dates in August and September. Assignment details
- Typical shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (day shift)
- Coverage windows:
- August 17–26 — day shifts; no night call on Aug 25–26
- September 18–30 — day shifts; no night call on Sep 30
- Providers must be available for the full range of dates listed above.
Practice setting
- 20-bed Medical ICU
- Collaborative critical care team
- Adult patient population with a wide range of critical illnesses
Core responsibilities
- Manage critically ill patients in the Medical ICU
- Provide ventilator management and perform routine ICU procedures
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care and develop patient-centered treatment plans
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based critical care in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Critical Care Medicine
- Active Florida medical license required
- Active DEA registration required
- Clean credentialing file to qualify for expedited temporary privileges
- Proficiency in ventilator management and standard ICU procedures
