Join a friendly team in Brattleboro, Vermont as a locum non-invasive cardiologist providing outpatient care during weekdays - no weekends and no call. You’ll work primarily with adult patients at a 61-bed facility, seeing about 16 clinic patients per day, with a schedule of 3-5 days per week. EMR: Cerner. Compensation is $2,200 per day.
What you’ll do:
- Deliver comprehensive outpatient cardiology evaluations and ongoing management.
- Assess and treat a wide range of cardiovascular conditions.
- Perform and interpret echocardiograms and EKGs.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and develop patient-centered treatment plans.
- Coordinate referrals and collaborate with other specialists for continuity of care.
- Provide patient education on cardiovascular health and disease management.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR.
What we’re looking for:
- MD or DO, board certified or board eligible in cardiology.
- Active Vermont medical license required.
- Current DEA registration.
- BLS and ACLS (AHA) and current CPR certification.
