Position summary
Provide psychiatric assessment, medication management, and ongoing care for children, adolescents, and young adults in a hybrid model (onsite telehealth) as part of an interdisciplinary behavioral health team in Frederick, MD.
Core responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and risk assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment and medication plans
- Provide ongoing medication management and follow-up care
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and other team members
- Document care in the EHR and participate in weekly clinical consultation/peer review
Schedule
- Minimum 12 hours per week
- At least 5 hours per week onsite

Compensation and support
- Hourly rate (1099): $120–$140
- Sign-on bonus up to $10,000

Required qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license in Pennsylvania
- PMHNP board certification (ANCC or AANP)
- DEA registration and Maryland prescriptive authority
- Minimum 2 years independent PMHNP experience
- At least 1 year experience treating children, adolescents, or young adults
- Proficient with EHR systems and Google Workspace
- Reliable computer, phone, and high-speed internet for telehealth services
