Metro Detroit | Based in Ferndale, MI

Full-Time | In-Home Consultative Sales

Starting Compensation: $50,000 during training

Post-Training Compensation: $40,000 base commission bonuses

Projected Year 1 Earnings: $65,000–$85,000

Projected Year 2 Earnings: $90,000–$120,000 (uncapped)


About the Role

Aaron’s Estate Sales is one of Michigan’s leading estate sale and auction companies. We help families navigate major life transitions with professionalism and compassion. We are hiring a Sales Representative who can meet with homeowners, assess their needs, present service options, and close estate sale, auction, and cleanout contracts.

This is a consultative, in-home sales role. You will work directly with families, provide expert guidance, and help them choose the best solution for their situation. Leads are provided through our marketing channels, and you will also grow your own referral pipeline.

Responsibilities
  • Attend scheduled in-home consultations with families preparing for estate transitions
  • Build trust and explain estate sale, auction, and cleanout service options
  • Assess the contents of the home and recommend the best approach
  • Present pricing, timelines, and expectations clearly and professionally
  • Close contracts during or shortly after consultations
  • Track all leads, appointments, and follow-ups in our CRM
  • Maintain strong communication with clients throughout the process
  • Develop referral relationships with realtors, probate attorneys, fiduciaries, and senior communities
  • Attend local networking events and represent the company in the community


Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of outside sales, in-home sales, real estate, insurance, or similar consultative experience
  • Proven ability to close deals and handle objections
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Organized, reliable, and comfortable with CRM tools
  • Able to travel throughout Metro Detroit
  • Interest in antiques, collectibles, or jewelry is a plus but not required
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
