Job Title – Certified Nursing Assistant
Contract - 7Weeks
Pay rate - $24/hr. to $26/hr.(with tax benefit)
Shift - 7am-3:00pm

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including hospitals, assisted living facilities, and clinics. This position requires a strong commitment to supporting patients' needs, particularly in acute care and geriatrics. The Nursing Assistant will work closely with nursing staff to ensure that patients receive the best possible care and support during their recovery or daily living activities.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, fostering a positive environment.
- Assist with mobility and transportation of patients within the facility.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient rooms and common areas.
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records systems such as Cerner or eClinicalWorks.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans for patients in inpatient settings or clinics.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of patient care practices in acute care settings or assisted living environments.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others, particularly the elderly or those requiring special assistance.
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant is preferred; candidates must be willing to obtain certification if not already held.
