Dog Attendant / Groomer

Responsibilities : Dog Attendant
- Supervise and monitor dogs in a daycare setting to ensure their safety and well-being
- Engage and interact with dogs through play, exercise, and enrichment activities
- Maintain a clean and sanitary environment by cleaning up after dogs and disinfecting play areas
- Monitor dog behavior and intervene to prevent any aggressive or unsafe interactions with dogs in playgroups using appropriate toys and tools to ensure safe levels of play and minimizing stress levels of all dogs in playgroup.

Responsibilities: Grooming

-Handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments

-Good brushing and Dematting skills

-Experience in combing, fluffing and blow drying the pet's coat.

-Comfortably and confidently giving nail trims using the Nail clippers/Dremel.

-Experience with dog grooming and/or Bathing and ready to demonstrate expert skill from day one.

- Light clipping such as Sanitary trims ,Feet trims, Dematting trim.

• Experience: Dog Attendant

- Previous experience in pet sitting, veterinary assistance, or pet care is preferred but not required.- Knowledge of basic animal handling techniques and understanding of dog behavior- Ability to handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments safely and confidently- Basic knowledge of dog training principles and techniques is a plus- Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and perform tasks that require bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods of time. - Being able to work as a team player and a work well with others in a group environment. Experience: Groomer

- Must have previous professional Grooming/ Bathing experience.

Note: This job may require weekends or evening shifts to accommodate the needs of our clients. We are looking for full time positions, part time, and seasonal employees during the holidays. We have Dog handling positions open, A shift lead position, and a float position (employee that preps all of our overnight kennels). We offer increase of pay on weekends for every employee that works on Saturday and Sunday. Time and a half paid for Holidays.

Also looking for someone with possible grooming experience ( Bathing and Nail trims). Have available time slots for someone who has the experience and wants to part time be a dog attendant and also plug into doing some bathing.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
